Save energy for housing students or workers
We have a lot of experience with employment agencies and other organizations that accommodate employees. Many of those organizations have to deal with high energy bills. When employees rent housing including energy, they hardly pay attention to heating costs.
As a result, the thermostat is often set to a high temperature day and night. Whether they are present or not. This unnecessarily costs your organization a lot of money.
Our thermostats prevent unnecessary heating of your homes without affecting the comfort of your tenants. The employment agencies that already work with our thermostats save more than 35% on energy costs.
Watch the animation below to see how they do this.
Save 35% energy: how does it work
Many of the workers housed by employment agencies come from countries that are used to district heating. They are used to always having the heating on and adjusting the temperature by opening the door or windows. We have also seen this in practice with customers. The gas heater is on full blast and the doors and windows are open. The heating is also on when people are at work. Sometimes even at 25˚C.
The Timer Thermostat prevents this waste by limiting the temperature to, for example, 21˚C. In addition, the thermostat is equipped with a motion detector and light sensor, which automatically lowers the temperature when there is no movement or when it is dark. The settings are also protected by a PIN code. Click here for more information about the Timer Thermostat.
Robust and vandal-resistant
Timer Thermostats are specially designed for applications where the thermostat can sometimes be a bit rough. The Timer Thermostat cannot simply be removed from the wall for the layman and the housing is strong.
The settings are also protected with a PIN code. It is even possible to have us hard-program your preferred settings into the thermostat, so that they remain the same when the Timer Thermostat is reset. The user of the thermostat can of course increase or decrease the temperature slightly within the limits you set, but never higher than the maximum you have determined.
Remote logging
With our software application ICY Control Center it is possible to wirelessly keep a log of, among other things, temperature changes or electricity consumption within an accommodation. Large consumers of energy are then quickly noticed. For example, if a tenant has decided to provide additional heating with an electric heater, you can start a discussion about energy consumption in a timely manner.
Central heating pressure alarm
With the ICY4950RPA Remote Pressure Alarm it is possible to monitor the central heating pressure remotely.
The Remote Pressure Alarm monitors the water pressure in a central heating system and sends a message to the ICY Control Center if the pressure falls below 0.8 Bar. This is ideal, because you can always preventatively ensure that water is replenished in time in your accommodations or buildings.
