ICY Campsite Management
Do you also regularly have to go to the campsite to flip the circuit breaker when guests have used too much electricity? And does the fixed fee for electricity often no longer cover your guests’ usage?
Then the wireless power management system ‘ICY Campsite Management’ is the solution for you.
Via easy-to-use software, from reception or directly on your smartphone, you can limit power points on your campsite to a certain Ampere limit, read energy consumption and switch off power completely. ICY Campsite Management can even be linked to your reservation system.
Many campsites now sell a high Amperage included in the fixed price as standard. That way, the manager has to walk around as little as possible to flip switches due to overloads.
With ICY Campsite Management, the standard amperage can be limited lower (e.g. at 6A). This is enough for a standard guest. Large consumers with air conditioners, electric heaters and washing machines, for example, will not have enough and will have to pay for a higher amperage.
If guests use more than what they have paid for, the power goes off automatically for a short time as a warning. After a configurable number of warnings, the power at that power point goes off completely and guests will go to reception to buy more power. You can control all the settings and switching the power back on yourself all from reception.
This system is fairer because someone with a simple tent, for example, does not have to pay as much as someone with a large caravan. So a situation arises where the user pays.
Power consumption goes down (people use less if they are aware that it costs extra), but revenue goes up because people who do need it pay for it.
If you have seasonal guests at your campsite, then billing by Ampereage can cause discussions and hassle. With ICY Campsite Management, you can bill by kWh. This is because the Campère devices we supply are equipped with a kWh meter as standard. In ICY Campsite Management, you can ask directly what the power consumption was per power point in a given period.
Settings are sent wirelessly to the power points, so no adjustments to the infrastructure are needed.
PLUG & PLAY installation
The intelligent ICY Campère plug contains everything you need to connect a camping site’s power point to ICY Campsite Management.
The plug can simply be inserted into the existing CEE socket by yourself. It is then secured at four points. So your guest cannot remove the plug themselves. The plug communicates wirelessly, so no communication cables need to be drawn.
See the alternatives for the plug (surface-mounted socket or DIN rail version) below on this page.
Wireless power management from your PC or smartphone
With ICY Campsite Management, it is possible to remotely set and read the electrical connections on your camping pitches on your PC or smartphone.
Easy-to-use software allows you to manage and monitor your power points and sanitary facilities.
ICY Campsite Management can be linked to your reservation system.
Get more out of your campsite’s existing infrastructure
Because ICY Campsite Management continuously monitors how many amps are available at your campsite, you always know how much power you can still sell.
In the past, for example, could you only offer 6A per camping pitch? Now, through smart distribution, you can give 2 pitches 4A and another 10A, depending on the need of the moment.
Merit model of wireless power points set up
Many campsites now sell a high Amp as standard which is included in the fixed price. That way, the manager has to walk around as little as possible to flip switches due to overloads.
With ICY Campsite Management, the standard Ampererage can be capped lower (e.g. at 6A). This is enough for a standard guest. Large consumers with air conditioners, electric heaters and washing machines, for example, will not have enough and will have to pay for a higher amperage.
If guests use more than what they have paid for, the power will go off automatically for a short time as a warning. After 10 warnings, the power at that power point goes off completely and guests will go to reception to take more power. You can control all the settings and switching the power back on yourself all from reception.

Billing per kWh through energy meter reading per pitch
If you have seasonal guests at your campsite, then billing by Ampereage can cause discussions and hassle. With ICY Campsite Management, you can bill per kWh using the same plug. This is because the plug is equipped with a kWh meter as standard. In ICY Campsite Management, you can ask directly what the power consumption was per power point in a given period.
Options for wireless control of CEE sockets
We offer three options for controlling the power points at your campsite.
Campère Wall Socket
Campère Module
Campère Plug
ICY Campsite Management works completely wirelessly and is therefore very easy to expand with, for example, power failure, central heating failure and frost alarms for the sanitary facilities and the automatic draining of water pipes when there is a risk of frost. Smoke alarms and other signalling and control tasks can also be easily implemented wirelessly, for example. Communication takes place via a special frequency so that there is no interference with other networks.
Features
Energy meter reading per pitch
This option allows the settlement of a consumption period; possibly linked to the reservation or accounting package.
This is suitable for both long stays (regular guests) and short stays.
Prevent misuse of power points at your campsite
To prevent improper use of power, you can switch off the power on a camping pitch when there are no guests. This can also be done automatically via the booking system.
Fair fee according to consumption
With ICY Campsite Management, you can let the customer choose how much power they want to have available. For example: 6A, 12A or 16A. And you can even bill actual consumption afterwards.
