Using easy-to-use software, you can wirelessly limit the power connections of your berths to a certain amperage, read energy consumption and switch off the power from the harbor office of your marina, or another location with internet. ICY Marina Management can even be linked to your port reservation system.

With ICY Marina Management, the amperage can be electronically limited lowerthan the value of the circuit breaker (usually 10A or even 16A), for example at 6A. For a guest, this usually suffices. For consumers with, for example, air conditioning and electric heaters this does not suffice and they will request a higher amperage.

Using ICY Marina Management, you can now electronically issue a higher amperage per user, e.g. 8A-10A or even 16A, and charge a higher fee for this. This way, the ‘aggravation and peak load of your electrical installation’ is also paid for by this guest/user.

A fair solution for both parties.

If guests use more than they have paid for, the power goes off automatically for a short time as a warning. After a number of warnings, set by yourself, the power of that mooring goes off completely.
The guest is thus alerted to the high consumption in a friendly way, without the actual (earth leakage) circuit breaker in the power box immediately switching off. This also prevents a lot of work for you!

You can control all the settings and the switching on of the power yourself all at the marina office, or ‘at home’, from the software application ICY Marina Management.

This system is fairer for everyone because someone with a small boat and few facilities, for example, does not have to pay as much as someone with a large yacht.
So a situation arises where ‘the user and large consumer pays’.
Power consumption goes down (people use less if they are aware that it costs extra), but revenue goes up because guests who do need it now pay for it upfront.

If you have fixed moorings in your marina, then billing by Ampere can cause discussions and hassle. With ICY Marina Management System, you can also pay per KWh. The devices we supply for ICY Marina Management are equipped with a KWh meter as standard. In ICY Marina Management, you can directly query per power point what the power consumption has been in a given period.

As ICY Marina Management System communicates and monitors wirelessly, no costly adjustments are required to e.g. the cable infrastructure. Moreover, the modules are very compact and can therefore almost always be built into existing cabinets or columns.
