ICY has specially developed a series of thermostats for use in rooms where the user is not the one who has to pay the energy bill. These Timer Thermostats, as the name suggests, have a timer that ensures that the thermostat switches back to a lower temperature after a time chosen by you as the owner. Depending on the version you choose, this is done based on operation or movement. You can even link the Timer-Thermostat Expert to your current reservation system via ICY Control Center. These thermostats are characterized by:
- vandal resistance
- security with PIN code
- robust
- high energy savings of 20% to 50%, depending on the situation in which the thermostat is used.
This includes rental bungalows, association buildings, offices, hotel rooms and, for example, student housing.
Often a window, door or sliding doors are opened in these rooms to get some fresh air, which means that the heating has to work even harder to maintain the set temperature.
With ICY’s timer thermostats, the temperature can be controlled in a smarter way, without sacrificing thermal comfort. Based on presence detection, it can be determined when the room needs to be heated, so that a heater does not burn unnecessarily for 24 hours. There are also subsidies that you may be eligible for.
